Our Process Pins Down What Couples Want In NW Indiana Engagement Rings

At Brad’s Designs & Jewelry, we take a step-by-step strategy to pinpoint what exactly couples are wanting in an engagement ring. Each piece is approached with the mindset that we are the storytellers of your love.

Consultation: First and foremost, our team will discuss what you are looking for and work to pull out from our conversation what you hope your ring says about you as a couple.

Design: While we are the leaders in the design process, we need as much input from you as you feel comfortable giving. This may be pictures of what you like, your own sketches or inspiration from your family or past. Once we feel we have captured the essence of your story, we will put together an initial sketch of your ring for you to review and approve. Tweaks will be made based upon your comments and opinions.

Wax carving: We won’t begin our work in your choice of materials until you give the go-ahead on a wax carving of your ring. We create this part of the process by hand, and this allows you to really see your ring up close and personal. A wax carving really brings a sketch to life.

Casting: We will cast your ring once you are 100 percent on board with the design. You can create a piece in platinum, gold, silver or a combination of these materials.

Fabrication: We take our work very seriously, so this step is also all done by hand. Our experience really radiates through in how we bring your piece to life through our talented hands.

Setting: Now is the time to add the cherry to your jewelry sundae! The stones that you have chosen will be added to the foundation that you helped create. We again do all of this by hand and bring together science and art to put your stones into place.
