During this process, we will also offer you initial estimates for the creation of your ring — figures that generally remain accurate and can adjust along with your ideas for the ring design.

Next, we finalize your vision of the ring with blueprints and detailed sketches, outlining your ring’s dimensions and features so you can decide on any last-minute changes you would like to make. Our goal is to create your ideal ring, ironing out any design flaws or issues before any money or material is committed. To help accomplish this, we carve a wax replica of your ring, allowing you to hold an exact model of your ring — complete with model stones. It’s incredible how much holding models of your Cedar Lake engagement rings can help you visualize whether you are happy with the designs or not.

Finally, once you’ve decided you are happy with the model ring’s design, we’ll start the actual design process. We begin by casting and fabricating your ring’s metal foundation — using your choice of gold, silver, platinum (or a combination of the three), or other metal.
