Cedar Lake Custom Jewelry Starts with a Conversation

Our owner, Brad Belush, understands that it can be intimidating to embark on a new venture, such as creating a custom jewelry piece. Especially if it is a surprise, there can be anxiety that it will not be what your gift recipient is hoping for. That is why our team takes you through the jewelry creation process step-by-step so that you can embrace the process and be ecstatic with the results. We begin with a conversation to better understand the story behind the gift – the who and why. Once we have had our consultation, we will begin to put together an initial design for your jewelry piece. If you have your own drawings, photos or examples, we definitely want to see those as well. 

After you have approved the design, we will bring it to life with a wax carving that is put together with our innovative machine and by hand. If you are good to go with this step, we move on to the next part: casting your piece in the metal of your choice. The fabrication is also completed by hand to ensure that there is a high level of craftsmanship that you would expect in a custom piece. Finally, we set any stones that are part of the final product.

Repairs for Your Cedar Lake Custom Jewelry

If you would like assistance with the maintenance of your new jewelry, we can help with cleanings, examinations and more. We do repairs in-house on such issues as replacing stones, repairing watches, re-tipping prongs and replacing broken clasps. We are happy to polish any of your jewelry and get it back to a shine and sparkle. We will review and examine any older jewelry to see if there are any concerns with any areas that may need to be repaired.
